The Electra corset was inspired by the imagery and colors of a sunrise. It is a full back corset with a square neckline and lacing at the front. The lacing details are gold metal rings that are riveted into the lacing bones. The base is 100% cotton English coutil and the outer shell is gold duchess silk satin. The lining is 100% cotton voile.
The front and back features geometric sunburst designs using the technique of shadow folding. The fabric is first marked with radiating points and certain points are hand stitched together. The front is then pressed first by hand and then using an iron. This creates a three-dimensional geometric pattern that is really amazing to look at and touch. The front and back also has inlaid gores with maroon mendhi embroidery. The back connects to the front at the shoulders with a silk double face satin ribbon. The corset is attached to a gathered skirt made out of black to dark blue ombre silk chiffon. A copper metal brooch is attached to the point where the slit and the corset meet.

What a brilliant piece of artistry. You should be so proud of your work. I can't even imagine how you do that on a corset.
Well done you!!!!
