Here are some corselette and brassiere patterns from a 1953 volume of Zuschneiderkunst (Wächeschneiderei). It's my personal copy, so I probably can upload some more pages if the instructions aren't clear. There are also patterns for panties, slips, half slips robes, etc, as well as men's patterns, but those can be found in most pattern books of the period. Corset patterns are rare

I'm still waiting for Im Dienste der Frau to come back from deacidifiaction-- evidently a loong process It's got corsets, corselettes, girdles, brassieres, garter belts, details of manufacturing processes, and so on. It better not have been stolen :(.

I do have a line on a Soviet corset book, but since I can't even read Cyrillic, the drafts, which approach the sophistication of engineering blueprints, are all but useless to me.

Not yet-- I'm still fussing over how to copy a corset of mine that does not fit-- without disassembling it, or leaving stray marks. The boning doesn't make it lie flat.

And converting it into a python algorithm that can be sent to draftcad....

So-- busy.

From im dienste der Frau

unfortunately, some of the other pages have thumbs obscuring a critical part of the text.

In that middle picture it's awesome to see the uneven seam allowances for the lapped seam drawn right on. No cutting large and trimming later for them.
