I have been looking at the excellent articles on mesh corsets but struggling to source some heavy duty polyester mesh.

Can anyone suggest any suppliers in the UK where I can get some none stretchy mesh suitable for a summer corset.

My friend Julia of Sew Curvy is planning on stocking the mesh that we use for strong sheer corsets... I'm not sure if it's listed yet, but if you drop her an email I'm sure she'll sort it out for you

Although sometimes prohibitively expensive, Joel and Sons, London, stock a polyamide tulle which is quite robust with limited stretch @ £11.90 per metre, (www.joelandsonfabrics.com). Maculloch and Wallis, London, stocks a polyester sports mesh (heavyweight) @ £12.77 excl.vat. The latter also stocks a soft crin that also looks quite useful.(www.maculloch-wallis.co.uk).
