I looked for a method of making pasties which are covered in fabric for years and never found one which worked for me without glue soaking through and changing the colour of the fabric.

A couple of weeks ago I found a new way of doing it and thought I'd try it out one last time... and it worked. Yay.
I'm not exactly Pearls and Swine or Adora Belle standard, but I can actually make pasties which match my corsets now, yay!

I was so happy I wanted to share that with every one.

Basically you have one layer of foam/buckram/felt etc, cover it with double sided tape on both sides, peel the backing off the tape on one side and stick the backing fabric to that ( I use pleather as it's soft, strong and comfy against skin) Cut the triangle out so it looks like pacman (if you're making circular ones - if not it looks like a shape with a triangular part missing) take the back off the tape on the other side and stick the fashion fabric down, cut next to one edge of the triangle, then fold the flap of fashion fabric under so it "hems" the raw edge of the slit, and glue the pasties into their 3D shape, pinching the edges together with a peg if needed.

Hope this makes sense without any pictures.
