Hi, everyone-- corsetry n00b here! I finally joined after lurking around all the free resources.

I'm a twenty-something PhD student in history, studying early China. I spend a lot of time sewing dresses when I should be reading the Book of Documents. And I also spend a lot of time wearing OTR corsets in class, so I can keep that straight-backed seminar posture while discussing the Book of Documents. So I figured, why not combine the two?

Wrt corsets, I haven't started sewing yet-- still in the process of doing research and gathering materials. But I'm looking forward to learning from all of you!
