Hello fellow members of Foundations Revealed,

my name is Alice. I'm 20 years old (at least until the end of May) and a student from the northern part of Germany.

I have always been interested in sewing, more so in "old" fashion. Victorian, middle ages, edwardian have always fascinated me. I do have a really "weird" fashion taste, as my parents always put it.

I have been called a goth a lot of times, or emo. But I actually don't think that way. I am me. Myself and if others need to put people in boxes, well, then it's their problem.

I love corsets and I am trying right now to sew my very first one.

I decided on the "Pretty Housemaid Corset".

It's made out of a string and withe cotton fabric (double) with royal blue flossing and it is meant to be worn as the "Alice in Wonderland Corset" *laughs*

I want t o sew the Alice Dress with the measurements of the corset. Yeah, I'm a bit different, I like "costumes. I bought my latest winter jacket in red, because it reminded me of "little red riding hood".

But ok, I know I'm not like the most part of the population, I kind of find that to be good.


I may be dificult sometimes, but who isn't?

I just finished my first corset a few minutes ago and I'm partially satisfied, and partially very unsatisfied by my creation.

I'll start a new topic and ask for some help.

And I wanted to say that I'm very happy for you, that you managed to gain new members. I surely am here to stay
