If you are subscribed to a forum or thread you should get an email notification of any new posts. Otherwise (if you unticked the 'subscribe to this thread' box, for example) you won't get any notification. I usually prefer to unsubscribe and just check back two or three times a week to get all the new posts.

If you could post pictures of the various tries and the patterns you were using at the time, it will make it a whole lot easier to give advice. You can upload any JPG under 800pix x 800pix and less than 150MB directly to the forum as an Attachment (directly below the Message part of the reply form). Thanks!

Hello Danielle,

You are right, you should use spiral boning on curved areas (including bust). You said you tried to remove the excess of the material, but maybe the curve wasn't smooth enough, or the seam line was at the wrong position? Maybe you can post some photos here. :)

Goodmorning ,

Getting frustrated with anything i can buy i have decided to make my own corset .

My problem : F/G cup .

I made a pattern using draw your own pattern on this site and using the how to fit a big bust article and i must say it fits pretty good :)

Only thing i cant figure out is this:
Underbust going to bust .
I cant get a nice "curve ".

I already tried the following :
Taking some fabric out at underbust >> wierd boxed shaped bust
Steel boning >> to stiff , doesn't feel nice and no nice bust shape , platter thing going on
Spiral boning >> perfect bust shape and great comfort , but there is what seems to be to much fabric at the underbust .

Anybody any thoughts on this ?
