I have been planning to join for ages now and never gotten around to it. Ah well, better late than never right?
Anyway, I am Toni, also known as Crafty or Craftyviking. I am born and raised in Norway, but moved to the US for college. Now I live just outside of Boston with my partner and our dog Samwise. I am a software developer at a small start up working in social web.
In my spare time (hah, like that exists) I do a lot of various crafts and projects as well as gaming. I've been sewing and creating patterns and ideas for as long as I can remember, starting early on when I got into larping and started sewing my own costumes for that. Corsetry I've been interested in for many years now, and have made a couple over the years for myself. Currently the idea that is the most energetic in bouncing around my head involves pinstripes and waistcoat inspired looks.
I've also recently become very interested in bra making as it is hard to find nice looking bras as a larger woman. And it is even worse if you have an odd shape like my partner does (32-34 J-K with narrow shoulders if you are curious). Since I finally got my sewing machine set up this weekend (had to hem some curtains), I am finally getting around to getting back into sewing.
