Here is what I will need from you, if you want to be part of the fitting article (#3 in the series):
Document, as clearly as possible, your changes to the pattern before your first mockup, the places it doesn't fit, and the changes you make to your pattern for the second mockup.
Take a photo (or several photos) comparing your first pattern to your second, either side-by-side shots of the two or layered on top of each other. They don't have to be perfect top-down shots or anything, but it's important that it be clear how the changes affected the shape of the pattern pieces.
Pictures of your first and second mockups - best if they're in roughly the same pose, so it's clear what effect the fitting changes had.
The complication: I need to have that article done and submitted right about when the second article (the one that discusses fitting the mockup and making the second mockup) comes out. You'll need to work a little ahead of the rest of the group, and I'm happy to help you out getting stuff fit and adjusted. Our benevolent overlord has just let me know we have a reprieve! I can accept before-and-after comparisons until May 10th, which should give you a week or two with the information from Article #2 (which documents my fitting experiments) before you would have to get me the pictures. You'll still need to work fast, but not quite so quickly. Thank you, Marion!
If you would be interested in helping out with that, leave a note here. I'm excited to see all the different alterations for all the different body types we'll be working with on this project, and being able to share them with the FR community. I would like to have at least 3 case studies, but more is always better!
