Does anyone have any images of work they have made for the competition, so far?

I've made a few pieces, and have tried quite hard to get good images of them, as I feel my images let me down last year. I've shared pictures of a few of this years pieces on my blog and my fan page, but wanted to share with you this pretty gorgeous image I had back yesterday.





The corset pattern is very basic - the 1860s short corset from the Jean Hunissett book, adjusted to my size (not modeled by me here)
The construction is very basic - one layer of broche, one layer of dupion, one 7mm spiral at each seam, 7.5mm flat steels at either side of the eyelets.

I focused on ornamentation here - I have used a gold power mesh and black beaded lace, along with jet and hematite swarovski crystals. This was the second piece I made which I saw a huge improvement from my older work in. The first was the pink corset in my avatar.

I wish I could share anything, but I haven't actually started. I've been doing all my sewing on my new winter coat, which is almost finished. Hopefully I'll be able to start working on my project then.

That happens often; it must be something to do with the way the forum pages load pictures. I've found reloading the page usually fixes it.
