You remember how I was talking about a sew-along a few months ago?

And then nothing happened?



Well, it's about to.

The sew-along will be for the pattern part of next year's competition. It'll start here in April, with articles and forum backup.


Which pattern, you ask? That, my dear, is a surprise. Think flight, Polar exploration, and the Model T Ford.

That is a horrible tease!!! I hope I can manage to keep up with the sew along. In the midst of moving

Alas! a move. Well, if it helps any I'll probably be moving part way through as well. Misery loves company! It's going to be spread over 4 months - the first month is collecting supplies, drafting up the pattern, doing some basic alterations on it, and making a mockup. I think it's quite doable, even if you only have a few evenings here and there. We'll slow down a lot once we get to tweaking the fit and sewing up the real thing.

Hope we will have a lot of time for the project. I need to order the materials and sometimes it stuck in the post office. And I am a really slow worker...

The whole sew-along will cover 4 months. The first month is drafting up, ordering supplies (as needed), and doing a first mockup. I hope you'll join us!
