Ok, this is super approximate - do not take it as gospel. If you're having trouble figuring out whether/where to modify, I would recommend making a paper version (just tape the edges together) and see how it looks in 3D.

You want the original scans: part 1, etc. Here are the links:

Or you can download a zipped/archived folder with all of the measurements typed so they're easier to read. That's linked from the sew-along article.

Bust is taken at the top edge from CF around to the side, then it drops to about 2" below the top edge by the CB - you can see from my mockup how much the top edge rises. Same for the hip - it's taken so it just brushes the bottom edge at its highest point, but cuts across the hip gores several inches up from the lowest point of the edge.

If you're having trouble visualizing that, I can do a quick cartoon of where the measurements are taken.

Also, this is probably a silly question, but when you are giving the measurements of the closed corset (original pattern) are the bust measurements actually the underbust measurements, since this is not a demi of full coverage corset? And the hip measurement it the measure of the bottom of the corset? I am still learning. Thanks.

Is anyone else having trouble accessing or finding panels H-M on the marquise.de site? I only get panels A-G and can't seem to find the rest of the pattern. Do you have any suggestions on how to access it? Thanks!

Carmene, you'll probably be done by dinner - it really isn't that hard, unless you run out of paper.

Jojojem - Excellent! I wound up adding a fair bit to the back hip, and now it fits so much more comfortably and smoothly.
