Thank you for the link and accistance )))
I meant I have another sort of problem - if I'll make it for my lady it wouldn't be a transitional corset, it would be S-bend one definetly ))) I just wanted to say that it would be another corset at all, another shape, another style to call it transitional form
My greatest challange of all times are Kops Heart corset, 1906 and Jubilee corset, 1887
They both are fantactic, they are tricky to draft, to sew and to find suitable materials for. But I don't leave the idea to deal with them one day )))

I've heard of ways to change pattern sizes - if you use those techniques you might be able to make it for her if you want to? I have the same problem too. Take 75mm off my waist and it's bellow a size 6 (lowest here, not sure if it's the same in Russia?)...same if you apply the standard reduction to bust and hips...so I'm trying out just reducing the waist at the moment, we shall see how it goes  .

It's worth googling if you want to find out how to do it. Here is what I found when I tried - How to Make a Pattern Larger or Smaller I can't vouch for it because I've never tried it, but might be worth a look :)

Hey there!
I'm sure all the efforts spent will give experience and skills )) That's the result everyone looks for ))
At the moment I've almost finished my dress form with a slight S-bend silhouette and I'm busy over the transitional corset pattern. I've met it before but never tried. But I'm afraid I cannot make this corset for my Lady - her waist is too small for this model

Hi Max,

Nice to see another beginner on the forum, I'm one too. :) What are you working on at the moment? I'm trying to follow the silverado articles - I'm on the pattern alteration stage. It's taking such a long time to make sense of everything. I'm hoping all of the frustration will pay off!

Hi everybody!
I'm Max, I'm 30, I'm from Russia.
I have not so much experience but ready to learn digging deeper in corsetmaking.
Tried a lot to make different corsets - something worked well, something had to be re done, I guess that's normal when you are involved in some creative process.
Of course as a beginner I'd like to make something ambitious and outstanding, but my skills and experience fail me =)
Anyway I'm glad to get here again, in a big companion of people who are ready to discuss mistakes and share achievements.
Wish your inspiration would never leave you ;)
