Hello,

I am a new member living and working in China. I am originally from Texas (1981) but born and raised in my formative years in Fishkill, New York. I was invited to come to China in 2009 after being laid-off from my engineering job in Houston. I am an Associate Professor and Senior Engineer at Dalian University of Technology School of Automotive Engineering. I teach courses in Body Design, Automotive Terminology and Western Auto Culture in the English intensive curriculum.

I have also been making and selling corsets since 1998 under my US registered trademark Waistknot. For those of you interested in Corset Patents here is a link that lists patent by the number of pieces in the pattern; click on the picture and if it doesn't connect you can at least get the patent number.
haabet.dk/patent/Waist.html
Click on the 'index' at the top of the linked page and you can find other interesting things all related to corsets.

John Paul Villforth
