Haha, seeing as I'm Australian, thought I might as well use Aussie slang as the title =P
I've been sewing since I was in primary school, first having been taught embroidery by my mother. I'm currently studying fashion at Uni and teaching myself more about my obsession, the one I'm sure we all share, corsets <3
I've only been making corsets for about two or three years, but just like in everyday garments I'm meticulous about my fit and finish. If there's something that will look better with hand finishing, even though I'm not paid to do it, I will sit there and hand sew it. I love nothing more than sitting back and looking at a finished product and thinking "I made that!" ...aaaannd then you get the garments you look at and think "how did that go so wrong?!?!?" Lol.
