Hello, everyone! My name is April and I am so brand new to corset wearing and making. I fell in love with corsets when I borrowed one from a friend for an event. It was surprisingly comfortable and I felt great wearing it. I had to have one. I went looking for one online and saw the prices... eek! I thought, I can make one of these, maybe. I purchased the TV 110 pattern and made my first corset. I finished it a couple of months ago. I had to guess at which fabrics to use and how to do all of it. I didn't know about foundations revealed yet. So glad I found you. I am in the process of making my second corset. It happens to be for the friend who loaned me her corset and got me started with all this. I am also going to try to make an entry for the 2013-2014 foundations revealed contest. So excited to be entering this world of fashion.

I do not have a sewing background. I have made costumes for holidays and stuff for myself. I also did a virtual quilting bee for about a year and a half.

Besides that, I am a mother of 3 small kids. A wife of one big kid. I am a student of winemaking. I like to garden and I play the ukulele. I am happy to meet you all.
