Hello everybody!

My name is Giulia and I'm a self-taught sewer: I always had weird tastes when it came to my own clothes, so I started sewing out of necessity and curiosity.

I love corsets! I have already tried my hand at Simplicity and Laughing Moon patterns, but I would like to take a step forward and go for period and self-made patterns (and , hopefully, improve my decorative skills which are sadly lacking...), so this is my reasons for being here.

About my life: I'm just now going to take a second degree in Archeology (Egyptian religion and magic is my expertise area) and in my spare time I help the family budget making hand made shamanic drums (and other ritual objects) and running workshops on ancient religions and magic.
I live with my husband and little daughter in Ferrara, Italy (and that's why my english will slip sometimes..but I hope you will be patient)

Here you are two pics of my first corsets: the black one is a single layer coutil, the liliac one is a double layer with coutil and cotton backed satin.... you can be merciless: I'm here to learn after all...

The black corset is very lovely - simple and trim. I like it with the green shift, especially.
